Specific Responsibility:

The major role of the position is as following:

Tasks Related with Designing:

  • To develop Detailed Implementation Plan with the field teams as per donor guidelines
  • Coordination and collaboration with the stakeholders like TEVTA,NAVTTC, Akhuwat, SMEDA and other relevant project stakeholders
  • The accreditation, curriculum and policy alignment with NAVTTC and TEVTA on Green Skills
  • To support the team of mobilizers in building connections with the civil society organizations
  • To develop his/her monthly work plan in accordance with project DIP and deliverables
  • To map the financial service providers/industries/employers in all districts of project implementation and others and ensure the employability of the beneficiaries. 
  • Develop criteria for the identification of TSP, Teachers and Project Beneficiaries including youth and CSOs.
  • Support the team in linkages development with the chamber of commerce, financial service providers and other interest free  micro credit institutes
  • Having knowledge of CBT& A, RPL and WBL for the smooth execution of the project
  • Finalization of the draft of the Business Development Plan with the support of consultant and ensure all entrepreneurs have the BDP and are following it.
  • Support the Monitoring team in conducting surveys and studies in the project.
  • Coordinate with the CSOs for the implementation of the project based initiatives on climate resilience.

Project progress tracking and reporting:

  • To track, monitor & validate progress of the project against DIP and ensure timely reporting to donors as per agreed timeline
  • To write the weekly, monthly and quarterly reports 

Coordination and Collaboration with Training Service Providers :

  • To ensure a smooth coordination with the TSPs and monitor and track the progress of enrolled trainees on regular basis
  • Coordinate with TEVTA / NAVTTC for the enrollment campaigns to register RPL, WBL and other regular trainees
  • To conduct regular field monitoring visits of project and generation of analysis on the basis of the visits and share it with the Project Manager.

Reporting & Documentation/data management:

  • To ensure all reporting requirements of donors as per agreed timeline
  • To keep maintained all relevant records of project data base like monitoring reports, donor’s reports, beneficiary’s data base, framework, tools, templates etc.
  • To capture best practices and case studies of the project and share with all concerns and share it with MEAL department
  • To support the team in developing a high quality visibility material as per the LPPs’ and donors guidelines
  • To document and sharing of meeting minutes

Monitoring the teachers training and Laboratory equipment :

  • To facilitate and support in engaging consultant for teachers training and to equip the laboratories of TVET institutes in all the districts of project implementation.
  • To provide support to the team in coordination with the TEVTA and other institutes for the teachers training logistics and other facilities provision

Coordination:

  • To coordinate with relevant project stakeholders especially with NAVTTC, TEVTAs  as per requirement and provide facilitation in conducting the national level activities and coordination
  • To regularly follow the decisions made during the quarterly and biannually meetings of stakeholders and comply
  • To attend and comply all the  technical working group (TWG) meetings.

CRM:

  • To ensure that the information about CRM is spread among all stakeholders, beneficiaries,vendors and other relevant.
  • Any other task assigned by Supervisor/ LPP Management.

Minimum Qualification & Experience:

Qualification: Master’s/Bachelor degree in social sciences or any other discipline from HEC recognized university.

Preferably having the knowledge of TVET sector working in Pakistan

Experience:

  • 5 years of relevant experience in a reputable organization.

 

Required Skills and Knowledge:

 

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, for extended hours, and to meet tight deadlines without compromising the quality of results.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion when dealing with sensitive political issues.
  • Strong Computer literacy skills in Microsoft Office and communication software.
