Head of Drilling

The Head of Drilling will lead all drilling and well construction activities for exploration, appraisal, and development wells across the company’s E&P assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and execution of drilling programs
• Well design and execution for onshore wells
• Rig, drilling and services contracts management
• HSE leadership across drilling operations
• AFE management and drilling cost control
• Management of drilling risks and non-productive time
• Continuous improvement and lessons-learned implementation
• Close coordination with exploration, reservoir and production teams

Candidate Profile:

• Degree in Petroleum, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 20 years’ drilling experience within an E&P operating company
• Strong onshore drilling background
• HPHT drilling experience desirable
• Exposure to carbonate formations advantageous
• Experience managing land rigs and integrated drilling teams
