The Head of Exploration will lead exploration strategy, prospect generation, and portfolio maturation across operated and non-operated E&P assets. The role is critical to reserves replacement and long-term production growth. Our asset base includes reservoirs with complex geological and geophysical characteristics, requiring strong subsurface integration and experience-driven exploration judgment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead exploration strategy and portfolio planning
Management of 2D / 3D seismic planning, acquisition and processing
Prospect generation, maturation, and ranking
Geological, geophysical, and seismic interpretation
Resource estimation, risking, and volumetric assessments
Leadership of multidisciplinary exploration teams
Technical interaction with joint venture partners and regulators
Presentation of exploration results to senior management and the Board
Candidate Profile:
Degree in Geology, Geophysics or related discipline
Minimum 20 years’ experience within an E&P operating company
Proven track record in prospect generation and maturation
Experience with carbonate reservoirs preferred
Basin experience in Pakistan / South Asia region advantageous
