Herpetologist

Job Description:

• Reptile and amphibian inventory 
• Population status, relative abundance, occupancy and seasonal activity 
• Design and run herpetofauna surveys 
• Standardised monitoring protocols for future assessments; inputs to Deliverables

Required Experiance:

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant professional/research experience
• Identification, taxonomy and ecological assessment of reptiles and amphibians
• Diversity, distribution and population surveys; suitable survey techniques
• Relative abundance, occupancy, distribution and population status
• Habitat identification and seasonal activity patterns 
• Development of standardized monitoring protocols

Required Qualification:

• At least MPhil/MS in Zoology, Wildlife Sciences, Ecology, Herpetology, Conservation Biology or closely related field. Specialized reptile/amphibian research preferred
