GIS & Remote Sensing
Specialist

Job Description:

• Build the GIS geodatabase in editable, georeferenced formats 
• Species distribution/habitat suitability modelling with the modelling team 
• Multi-criteria hotspot delineation and Hotspot Priority Index maps 
• Remote sensing analysis (Sentinel, Landsat, DEM): LULC, NDVI, fragmentation, connectivity, threat maps  
• Deliverable 6 (GIS database and maps); data handover ; GIS training 

Required Experiance:

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant professional/research experience
• GIS database development
• Remote sensing; spatial modelling
• Habitat suitability mapping 
• Biodiversity hotspot analysis

Required Qualification:

• BS/MS/MPhil in GIS, Remote Sensing, Geography, Forestry, Environmental Sciences or related field
