Job Title: City Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive City Manager to oversee and coordinate all city-related activities and operations. The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and coordination skills to ensure effective management of urban initiatives, services, and stakeholder engagement. The City Manager will work closely with local government entities, technical teams, and communities to support sustainable urban development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all city-level programs, activities, and operations

  • Coordinate with local government departments, authorities, and relevant stakeholders

  • Supervise and guide multidisciplinary teams, ensuring effective performance and accountability

  • Plan, implement, and monitor urban development, environmental, and community-based initiatives

  • Ensure compliance with local government policies, regulations, and administrative procedures

  • Prepare high-quality reports, proposals, briefs, and official correspondence

  • Support strategic planning and decision-making related to urban management and service delivery

  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions

  • Facilitate collaboration between engineering, environmental, and community-focused teams

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Urban Planning, Environmental Studies, Engineering, Public Administration, Development Studies, or a related field

  • 5–7 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in urban or city-level management roles

  • Proven experience working in urban environments

  • Background or strong exposure to environmental management, engineering, or community development

  • Solid understanding of local government systems, policies, and procedures

  • Ability to coordinate across multiple sectors and stakeholders
