Position: Project Assistant
Location: Islamabad
Contract Duration: 6 months
Salary range: 100,000 – 120,000
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day project coordination and implementation support for environmental, sustainability, and waste management–related projects
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking project activities, milestones, and deliverables
- Maintain detailed logs of project activities using project management and tracking tools (e.g., Excel, MS Office 365, or other project management platforms)
- Support coordination of internal team meetings and external stakeholder meetings, including preparation of agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions
- Conduct literature reviews and background research on environmental engineering, environmental sciences, sustainable development, circular economy, climate change, and waste management
- Support data collection, basic analysis, and documentation under the guidance of senior project staff
- Assist in planning and conducting field assessments, surveys, and site visits
- Coordinate with local stakeholders, consultants, and partners during field activities and assessments
- Document field observations and contribute to field assessment reports
- Assist in organizing workshops, trainings, consultations, policy dialogues, and other project events
- Prepare and manage invitation lists, send formal invitations, and follow up with participants
- Support logistical arrangements for events, including registrations, materials, coordination, and documentation
- Maintain organized digital records and documentation of project files and correspondence
- Support preparation and dissemination of project-related communication and outreach materials
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Business, or a related field is required.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in field coordination, municipal engagement, or community-level work.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in field-based environments.
