Job Summary:

The DOPASI Foundation is actively seeking an innovative and skilled Project manager to join our team. He/She will play a pivotal role in advancing community-led initiatives. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, the Project Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to engage communities, enhance awareness, and conduct and monitor TB-related advocacy campaigns effectively.

Specific Tasks and Responsibilities: 

Specific tasks of the Project Manager include, but are not limited to: -

  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to identify audiences and design, implement, and evolve community-based strategies for advancing TB related campaigns
  • Grow, cultivate, and train a network of volunteers to ensure community led monitoring and assist in community related projects
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor the implementation of community-led initiatives in line with project proposals and donor requirements.
  • Facilitate community engagement and participation in project activities, ensuring inclusivity and empowerment.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with relevant stakeholders, including government authorities, technical institutions, and community leaders.
  • Ensure effective project management, including budget management, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Engage Key Community Influencers in priority areas, including vulnerable communities, identified hotspots, and high-risk groups.
  • Collaborate with Leaders of Community Institutions to foster community-level support and participation.
  • Identify and actively involve Community Representatives in advocacy and outreach activities for CLM.
  • Identify and pursue partnerships and collaborations with other relevant stakeholders that mutually support efforts to enhance CLM
  • Track, analyze, and evaluate the impact of outreach and volunteer programming
  • Contribute to the development and dissemination of best practices and lessons learned in community-led monitoring.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., international development, project management, social sciences).
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in project coordination or management, preferably in the context of international development or humanitarian assistance.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, implement, and monitor project activities in a systematic and results-oriented manner.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies, including work planning, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management software.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; proficiency in additional languages relevant to the project context is an asset.
