Medco Dynamics is looking for a fully experienced Medical Billing Team Lead.
The Team Lead will supervise the complete revenue cycle management operations; perform duties such as eligibility & insurance verification, claim submissions, accounts receivable follow-up, denials management, appeals, arbitration and payment posting
The person should be experienced in medical insurance coverage and current protocols in medical billing and collections.
Maintains a working knowledge of all billing policies, rules and regulations, updates appropriate staff of changes in the insurance industry.
Job Responsibilities:
- Accurate reconciliation of accounts
- Claim creation and submission
- Claim follow-up management
- Maintain accurate status of submitted claims
- Be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Investigate denied claims; take appropriate action to have claim approved
- Post payments per Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from the insurance company
- Regularly provide professional and thorough account updates.
- Weekly/Monthly detailed reporting.
Necessary Requirements:
- Knowledge of CPT and ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems
- Proficiency in Excel and all Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent knowledge of coding, billing cycle and insurance guidelines
- Must have 5+ Year of experience in Medical Billing Company
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and Reliable.
