A  Local NGO is implementing a cooperative partnership with UNESCO programme to implement the project “Girls Lower Secondary Education Programme (GLSEP) in Pakistan”. The purpose of the programme is to support the government’s efforts in increasing access and improving the quality of girls’ education (at lower secondary level).T The organization requires energetic, competent and qualified professionals against the following position having residence/working experience in District Swat of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Candidates who fulfill the below mentioned criteria and have the required skills along with the qualification can apply online through brightspyre latest by COB 9th Sep, 2020. Job Description

• The education officer will regular field visits to all schools for ensuring provision of quality education.
• The education officer will ensure teachers and students attendance.
• The education officer will implement activities mainly to increase girl’s enrolment, decrease drop-out and reduce absenteeism.
• The education officer will mobilize Mother Committees and community elders through Community Mobilization Session to enrol out of school girl’s children and will ensure completion of Primary education.
• The education officer will facilitate teachers in classroom management, awareness about cleanliness/ personal hygiene and initiating co-curriculum activities.
• The education officer will collect and validate student’s data.
• The education officer will submit weekly, monthly and quarterly report.
• The education officer will provide/arrange capacity building trainings and technical support to the teachers 
• The education officer will coordinate with Education Department DOE/ADOs/Head Teacher.
• The education officer will conduct meeting with PTC.
• The education officer will arrange School inters competition at school based.
• The education officer will ensure proper record keeping of program activities.
• The education officer will develop strong coordination with ADEO circles for joint field visits.

Skills: The education officer must have:

• Strong Urdu and Pashto
• Community Mobilization skills  
• Reporting and documentation skills
• Computer skills, including MS Office and e­mail.
