Tehsil Manager – ABS
Survey (PULSE)

Role Summary:

The Tehsil Manager will lead planning, coordination, supervision, and quality assurance of the PULSE Project’s ABS survey at the tehsil level, ensuring timely and accurate implementation in collaboration with revenue staff, local administration, and communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage PULSE Project’s ABS Survey field teams at tehsil level
• Coordinate with Patwaris, Qanungos, Tehsil Administration, and local stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with survey methodology, SOPs, and PULSE guidelines
• Monitor field progress and resolve operational issues
• Conduct data verification and quality checks of survey data/maps
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports for the District Manager
• Support community engagement and resolve field-level disputes
• Perform any other tasks assigned by District Manager

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Geography, GIS, Surveying, Urban Planning, Social Sciences, or related field
• 3–5 years’ experience in land surveys, cadastral mapping, GIS-based surveys, or large-scale field projects
• Experience with government projects or land revenue systems preferred

• Knowledge of land records, cadastral surveys, and GIS data collection
• Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder management
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Working Conditions:

• Extensive fieldwork within the Tehsil, including rural/remote areas
