Role Summary

The Social Mobilizer will be hired at the Tehsil level, with two (02) Social Mobilizers deployed in each Tehsil of the concerned districts—one male and one female—to ensure effective, gender-inclusive community outreach.

As the role requires joint field mobility on a motorbike, the selected male and female Social Mobilizers must belong to the same family and be mutually comfortable working and traveling together to ensure smooth and efficient field operations.

The Community Mobilizer will plan and implement Mauza-level community engagement activities under the PULSE Project. The role focuses on inclusive participation, awareness of land records, and accurate documentation to support project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Mauza-level community engagement sessions (minimum 100 participants with equal women participation).
  • Mobilize landowners, women, youth, and marginalized groups including minorities, transgender persons, persons with disabilities, and low-income communities.
  • Organize and facilitate Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and Youth Engagement Sessions.
  • Coordinate with local leaders, influencers, and district/tehsil teams.
  • Maintain attendance records, photographs, session reports, and submit daily/weekly activity reports.
  • Ensure compliance with project SOPs and reporting timelines.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Sociology, or related field (preferred).
  • Experience in community mobilization or development projects is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and documentation skills.
  • Familiarity with local languages and community dynamics.
  • Willingness to work in field-based environments with flexible hours.

Working Conditions

  • Field-based role requiring extensive travel within the assigned Tehsil
  • Motorcycle-based, target-driven fieldwork involving community sessions
