A non-profit organization requires energetic, competent and qualified professionals against the following positions having residence/working experience in District Torghar of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Position: Social Mobilizer

  • Project: Food Security Project
  • Gender: Male or Female
  • Minimum Education:  14-16 years of education. (Sociology/Anthropology) or related disciplines.
  • Minimum Experience: 2 or more years of professional experience in social mobilization
  • Report to: Director Programs
  • Monthly Salary: PKR-40,000/-
  • Contract Duration: 18 Months

Job Descriptions

  • Situation analysis, initial contact and Programme introduction in the Community
  • Collect socio-economic data for Community Organization (CO) profiles and motivate the Community for making grass roots level CO.
  • Conducting fortnightly meetings with these COs for the identification of various needs and any possible intervention from IDEA and PPAF.
  • Formation of Village Development Organizations (VDOs) at Village level. 
  • Conducting various activities and workshops with various agendas. (Related to agriculture, community development, education, health and livestock issues).
  • Linkages of the community with other governmental and non-governmental organizations especially working in the area.
  • Design trainings & workshops consisting of CMSTs & Record Keeping for communities both at CO and VDO level for their capacity building, self-sustainability & for better use of local management & resources.
  •  Reports to Project Manager & case studies development/writing.
  • Conducting and coordinating the training for Community Activist on (Community Management and Skill Training’s Agriculture, Fisheries, Livestock and including sessions on Participatory Development, Development Planning, Communication Skill, Linkages, Record Keeping, Execution of Development Plans, Gender and Rural Development).
  • Organizing the Rural communities at the grass root level into Community Organizations and develop their linkages with the District level relevant department.
  • Facilitating the communities in identification of small infrastructure schemes and conflicting resolution and created linkages for its implementation.
  • Facilitating extension of COs for Agriculture, Livestock and small Enterprise development
