The Poverty Graduation of Extremely Poor and Flood-Affected Households (PGEP) is a US$134.2 million project jointly financed by the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) and the Government of Pakistan (GoP). The four-year project is being implemented under the Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety (MoPASS) in 25 of the poorest and flood-affected districts of Pakistan. The project supports the Government’s development priorities under Uraan Pakistan and is aligned with the IsDB Food Response Programme and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a focus on reducing extreme poverty and economic vulnerability, promoting sustainable livelihoods and employment, and strengthening the resilience of poor and vulnerable households to climate-induced shocks.

Job Description:

  • Assist in collection and delivery of official documents and correspondence, when required.
  • Assist in photocopying, printing, scanning, filing, and distribution of official documents and project materials, as required.
  • Provide logistical and other office support during meetings, workshops, field visits, and project activities.
  • Assist in arranging and maintaining meeting rooms, office supplies, and other logistical requirements for day-to-day project operations.
  • Ensure timely availability and safe handling of project vehicle and related equipment.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and proper arrangement of office furniture, seating areas, meeting rooms, and other common office spaces.
  • Support the office team in outdoor work.
  • Perform any other related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Minimum Matriculation or equivalent qualification.
  • Preferably 3 years of relevant experience, preferably with a government office, development project or reputable organization.
  • Good conduct, reliability, punctuality and basic communication skills.
