Paid Internship – Contract Basis
Eligibility / Qualification
- Certificate of successful completion of a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) training course from a recognized institute; OR
- BS Medical Laboratory Technology (BS MLT) from a recognized institution.
- Candidates should demonstrate a keen interest in laboratory services and willingness to learn and work in a professional healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
The selected intern will work under the supervision of qualified laboratory staff and may be assigned responsibilities including:
- Assisting laboratory staff in routine laboratory procedures.
- Supporting sample collection, handling, labeling, and processing as directed.
- Maintaining cleanliness and proper organization of the laboratory.
- Following laboratory safety, infection prevention, and control protocols.
- Maintaining confidentiality of patient information and laboratory records.
- Assisting with proper documentation and record keeping.
- Performing other laboratory-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
