A national non-profit organization invites applications from motivated and qualified individuals for the position of Laboratory Intern on a paid contract basis.

Nature of Engagement

Paid Internship – Contract Basis

Eligibility / Qualification

  • Certificate of successful completion of a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) training course from a recognized institute; OR
  • BS Medical Laboratory Technology (BS MLT) from a recognized institution.
  • Candidates should demonstrate a keen interest in laboratory services and willingness to learn and work in a professional healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

The selected intern will work under the supervision of qualified laboratory staff and may be assigned responsibilities including:

  • Assisting laboratory staff in routine laboratory procedures.
  • Supporting sample collection, handling, labeling, and processing as directed.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and proper organization of the laboratory.
  • Following laboratory safety, infection prevention, and control protocols.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of patient information and laboratory records.
  • Assisting with proper documentation and record keeping.
  • Performing other laboratory-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
