Job Description:

Project Planning and Scheduling
  • Timeline Management: Assist in creating and updating project plans and "look-ahead" schedules to anticipate and mitigate potential delays.
  • Subcontractor Coordination: Schedule and coordinate the activities of subcontractors, site staff, and specialists to align with project milestones. 
 
2. Document Control and Administrative Support 
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records for contracts, permits, change orders, and Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Drawing Management: Track revisions to construction plans and blueprints, ensuring all teams are working from the most current versions.
  • Project Closeout: Oversee final documentation, including punch lists, warranty manuals, and as-built drawings for client handover.
  • Financial and Budget Monitoring 
    • Cost Tracking: Monitor expenditures against the project budget, process invoices, and assist in preparing financial forecasts.
    • Procurement: Manage the purchase and timely delivery of building materials and equipment to job sites. 
     
    4. Communication and Liaison
    • Stakeholder Hub: Act as the primary point of contact between engineers, architects, clients, and government agencies.
    • Meeting Facilitation: Schedule and chair project meetings, record precise minutes, and distribute action items to all relevant parties.
    •  Quality, Safety, and Compliance
      • Site Inspections: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure work aligns with design specifications and quality standards.
      • Safety Protocols: Ensure construction activities comply with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations, such as OSHA standards. 
       
      6. Technical and Risk Management
      • Software Proficiency: Utilize modern project management tools (e.g., ProcorePrimavera P6AutoCAD) to track data and generate reports.
      • Risk Identification: Proactively identify potential logistical hitches or design mismatches and propose solutions before they escalate.
