Job Description:

The District Manager – Humanitarian will lead and coordinate the implementation of emergency flood response activities in flood-affected areas. This role requires effective field coordination, engagement with stakeholders, and close monitoring of relief and recovery interventions for timely and accountable service delivery.

Main Responsibilities:

Program Implementation:

  • Lead planning and execution of flood response activities at district level.
  • Supervise distribution of relief items (food, NFI, hygiene kits, etc.).
  • Monitor implementation of WASH, Shelter, Health, and Livelihood interventions.

Coordination & Liaison:

  • Coordinate with government authorities, humanitarian partners, and community stakeholders.

Human Resource Management:

  • To ensure effective people management for smooth functioning of the team with performance objectives setting.
  • Liaise with Regional Manager about staff performance and attendance issues
  • Conduct performance appraisals of team and plan for their professional development
  • Effective conflict Management among team members and community

Job Requirements:

  • Master degree in social sciences with working knowledge in the development sector
  • Master with 10 years working experience and Knowledge in development sector
  • Knowledge of social sector, political and governance issues in Pakistan
  • Any other task assigned by the supervisor
