Assistant Engineer (Mechanical)

Qualification:

• DAE / B.Tech. (Mechanical) 

Experience:

• Minimum 08 years of relevant post qualification experience in oil & gas, fertilizers, chemical industry or any other reputed industry.

Skills:

• Sound knowledge and skills for preventive & predictive maintenance and troubleshooting of Gas engines, Diesel engines and Gas compressors.
• Well conversant with the use of measuring tools, especially laser alignment tool.
• Should have strong team building, self-motivation and supervisory skills.
• Assisting in ISO internal audits and maintaining compliance to HSE and departmental procedures.
• Strong supervisory skills are required.
• Strong analytical skills are required.
• Familiar with the CMMS.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Top/Major overhauling and troubleshooting of Diesel/Gas Engines (caterpillar and Waukesha).
• Top/Major overhauling and troubleshooting of Gas compressors (AJAX, Ariel, Dresser rand)
• Spare parts estimation for top / major overhauling of engines and compressors.
• Implementation and compliance to HSE policies/procedures.
• Responsible for implementation of preventive maintenance plans.
• Perform periodic visual/physical inspection of all equipment.
• Complete the corrective maintenance jobs up to entire satisfaction.
• Identify and investigate breakdown or malfunctioning of equipment.
• Maintain up-to-date history of all plant machinery maintenance records.
• Execute the work safely and follow the company policies and procedures.
• Compliance to PPEs and PTW system.
• Preparation of daily, monthly and major jobs reports.
