Data & Reporting Officer

Background:

The project “NIC Registration and Civic & Voter Education Sessions,” supported by UNDP, aims to facilitate women and marginalized groups in obtaining National Identity Cards (NICs) and to promote awareness regarding civic and voter rights. Accurate database management, listing, verification, coordination, and timely reporting are essential components of this initiative. The Data and reporting officer will provide technical and administrative support to the team to ensure efficient data collection, compilation, verification, and reporting for all project activities. This includes complete data entry for NIC identification and facilitation of approximately 13,000 NIC registrations, as well as assisting the Project Manager in coordinating with field teams and relevant stakeholders.

Relevant Experience:

• Minimum Masters/bachelor’s in development studies, social sciences subjects
• At least 2 years of experience in large database management and project support roles.
• Strong reporting writing and analytical skills
• Prior field experience of working on CNIC registration drive is an advantage
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and data management tools in mandatory
• Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel to project districts if and when required.
• The candidate should also be innovative, highly motivated, maintain a positive attitude, and demonstrate strong teamwork spirit.

Job Description:

• Data Entry and Management of the NIC registration record and all means of verifications
• Enter and maintain accurate data related to NIC registration and civic/voter education sessions
• Compile, verify, clean, and verify data/lists received from field teams.
• Maintain regularly updated databases and ensure proper documentation of all project-related information.
• Provide support in community mobilization and identification/NIC facilitation of target groups (if and when required)
• Assist the Project Manager in preparing and compiling daily, weekly, and monthly reports/ Quarterly
• Support in the consolidation of field data and development of final reports.
• Coordinate with field staff/CSOs and district teams for smooth data flow.
• Assist the Project Manager in any administrative or coordination tasks delegated.
• Support documentation, filing, and organization of project-related materials.
• Travel to target districts to support data verification, on-ground coordination, and documentation of activities (occasional, if required)
• Provide on-site data support during field activities in target districts (if required)
