Education Officer (Female)

About the Role:

The Education Officer/School Leader will implement education project activities in Dera Ismail Khan, focusing on teacher support, classroom monitoring, training, remedial learning, and SMC engagement. The role also promotes inclusive, safe learning environments and establishes Girls’ Voice and STEAM Clubs in selected schools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement ECE, foundational literacy/numeracy, and remedial learning using TaRL methodologies.
• Monitor classroom practices, teacher performance, and student progress through regular visits.
• Facilitate teacher training, mentorship, and integration of inclusive learning materials.
• Support Girls’ Voice and STEAM Clubs and promote inclusive, safe learning environments.
• Strengthen SMCs and parental engagement through orientation and community outreach.
• Maintain documentation and contribute to M&E through reporting, assessments, and data collection.

Eligibility:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed) or Social Sciences; preference will be given to candidates with M.Ed or similar qualifications.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in school-based education programming or teacher training.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of teaching methodologies and learning assessment tools.
• Ability to train, mentor, and support teachers effectively.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with school communities.
• Proficiency in local languages (Pashto/Saraiki/Urdu) preferred.
• Basic reporting and data collection skills.
