About the role

The Assistant in the Church Department plays a vital role in supporting the efficient functioning of the department by providing administrative assistance, coordinating activities, and ensuring smooth communication within the church community and with external stakeholders.

Your impactful goals will include

Administrative Support:

·       Assist in managing and organizing departmental files, documents, and records.

·       Organize the record of correspondence, reports, and other documents.

·       Develop a database of all the activities, training, conferences, workshops, events, etc both in hard and soft forms.

·       Develop attendance sheet, plans, and agendas, their signing and proper filing.

Event Coordination:

·       Assist in the planning and coordination of church events, meetings, and programs.

·       Coordinate logistics for activities, and manage event materials.

Communication:

·       Communicate with Pastors and Church Development Committees for trainings, events, and other Church Events.

·       Share updated information to Churches regarding upcoming training, conferences Events, etc.

Support for Leadership:

·        Assist CCT Management in preparing for meetings, presentations, and other activities.

·        Record feedback from the participants of Training, conferences and events.

Operation Support:

·       Process Purchase Requests, Travel Plans, and Cash advances for Church Activities.

·       Keep a Record of all the Purchase Requests aligned with the budgets, consumption, and variances.

Job Specification:

Education:

  • Bachelors in related fields such as social work, sociology, community development, or international development/Social Sciences.

Work Experience:

  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in social work, Church, and Community Development.
  • Experience with data management and record keeping can be beneficial.
  • Candidates who has experience of working on church projects will be given preference
