SBCC Expert (Social and
Behavior Change Communication Expert)

Relevant Experience:

• Advanced degree in social sciences, communication, public health, or a related field.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing SBCC interventions, particularly in humanitarian settings.
• Familiarity with the socio-cultural context of KP and experience working with refugee populations is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and multidisciplinary team.

Job Description:

• Conduct a comprehensive assessment of social and behavioral dynamics within refugee host communities in KP.
• Develop evidence-based SBCC strategies tailored to the cultural, linguistic, and socio-economic context of KP.
• Design communication materials (e.g., posters, brochures & other IEC material)aligned with SBCC objectives.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, community leaders, and UN agencies, to ensure synergy and avoid duplication of efforts.
• Implement SBCC interventions through various channels, including community meetings, workshops, mass media, and digital platforms.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of SBCC activities, employing both qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Provide regular progress reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
• Comprehensive assessment report on social and behavioral dynamics within refugee host communities.
• SBCC strategy document outlining objectives, target audiences, key messages, and implementation plan.
• Communication materials developed as per the approved SBCC strategy.
• Progress reports detailing implementation activities, achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
• Monitoring and evaluation report assessing the impact of SBCC intervention.
• Develop SBCC material for 11 districts on refugee host communities.
• Developed Capacity-building activities plan and four module for parents, out of school youth, community elders and religious leaders.
• Developed comprehensive provincial social behavioral strategy for refugees focusing on promoting positive social and behavioral changes conducive to peaceful coexistence, resilience, and integration
• Oversight the community session for 9000 target beneficiary.
• Develop session plan & strategy and extend shadowing support during sessions
• Prepared the province wise community sessions report.
