About the role

Identifying the needs and priorities of the communities, developing and implementing project to address those needs, and mobilizing resources and support to ensure the success of the project.

Your impactful goals will include

  • Community engagement: To engage with the community, build trust, and establish relationships with community leaders, local organizations, and other stakeholders.
  • Conducting assessments: Conducting surveys, assessments, and research to identify the needs and priorities of the community he/she is working with.
  • Project planning and implementation: Once the needs of the community are identified, help to plan and implement project or initiatives to address those needs.
  • Resource mobilization: To mobilize resources, including funding, materials, and volunteers, to support the project they are implementing.
  • Advocacy and awareness-raising: To raise awareness about issues affecting the community and advocate for policy changes or reforms that can improve their situation.
  • Monitoring and evaluation: Monitoring the progress of the project they implement and evaluating their impact on the community.
  • Reporting and documentation: To maintain accurate records of the activities, including progress reports, budgets, and other documentation, to demonstrate the impact of his/her work.

What we are looking for:

Education & Knowledge

  • Masters/Bachelors in related field such as social work, sociology, community development, public health or international development.

 Work Experience

  • 3 to 4 years of experience in social work and community development.
  • Experience with data analysis and project evaluation can be beneficial.
