Background: 

The Centre for Peace and Development Initiatives, Pakistan (CPDI) is an independent, non-partisan and a not-for-profit civil society organization working on issues of peace and development in Pakistan. It is registered under section 42 of the Companies Act, 2017.

 Job Objective and Responsibilities:

The M&E officer will perform the following functions:

  • Develop, strengthen, and ensure compliance with M&E procedures.
  • Develop and update M&E plans, log frames and indicator tracking sheets.
  • Monitor project activities and progress towards achieving the project output.
  • Selecting indicators, setting targets, collecting/storing means of verifications, and reporting.
  • Collecting, storing, and analysing data and reporting as per standard on schedule.
  • Supporting the preparation and review of program reports and documents.
  • Assisting in the development of concept notes and proposals.
  • Coordinating with CPDI/partner field staff to carry out monitoring visits.
  • Propose strategies for greater efficiency and effectiveness of the project by identifying bottlenecks in completing project activities and developing plans to minimize or eliminate such bottlenecks.
  • Ensuring that outcomes and lessons learnt are communicated to the program teams and management for better implementation of the program.
  • Provide training and mentoring to CPDI and partner staff on M&E systems, data collection, and reporting standards.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Required Qualification: 

  1. Education: A master's degree in a relevant field such as international development, social sciences, statistics, or a related discipline, accompanied by a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

 

*Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential. Experience in data collection, cleaning, analysis, and interpretation is required. Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint will be considered advantageous.
