Position Title:

Community Lawyer

Litigation Manager and Program Manager

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the field team in organizing and delivering the community awareness session.
  • Answer legal queries from the communities during awareness sessions.
  • Document queries from the communities on the advice form and update program records.
  • Conducting interviews with clients.
  • Coordinate with clients on a daily basis, and give updates to the clients.
  • Updating the data in CMS.
  • Conducting meetings with LAS Stakeholders.
  • Managing and updating the case files.
  • Diligently proceeding with cases on a daily basis before courts and tribunals.
  • Drafting pleadings, applications, affidavits, written statements, petitions, and all documents related to ligation.
  • Conducting research.

Requirements and Core Competencies:

  • Must be enrolled with the Bar Council.
  • Minimum of two years of post-qualification litigation and community-based experience.
  • Strong research and drafting skills.
  • Adequate knowledge of family laws.
  • Commitment to social justice and advocacy for marginalized communities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
