Advocacy and Communication Manager is responsible to collect, catalogue, assess and provide accurate and timely information about all activities of PODA projects for inter-organization and public use. This includes writing and producing high-quality IEC materials including press releases, short reports, tweets, Facebook updates and selection and posting of project activities on social media in a timely and accurate way. He/She will develop a communication strategy for all projects for required outcomes according to project objectives. S/he will collect success stories and organize project/s data sharing through e-mail, WhatsApp, website updates and reports. S/he will maintain effective communication with all team members to update the PODA website, organize zoom meetings and work with all projects to ensure timely media coverage of activities. This position is responsible to monitor news and popular trends to insert messaging into ongoing conversations to share up to date and relevant content focused on the thematic areas of PODA projects for timely information sharing and raising profile of PODA work.
H/She will maintain constant contact with field teams to collect human interest stories with picture and videos and content to produce videos. Design and revise strategy for outreach to social media outlets (Website, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, instagram, ticktok etc. and disseminate information on bi-weekly basis with public, partners and stakeholders. This position requires writing reports/annual reports of organization’s work
Qualification: MA or above in communication, media, project management preferred.
Experience: At least 10 years’ experience in media, communication, advocacy, project management. Experience of working with national NGOs or INGOs is highly desirable.

- Strong communication in written and spoken English required (+Urdu will be ideal).
- Strong interpersonal skills, team work skills, direct communication & honesty required.
- Ability to follow instructions, meet deadlines, attention to details & punctuality required.
- Ability to explain complex ideas in clear, precise, logical writing with proof reading skill.
- Advanced social media skills to design & launch on-line advocacy campaigns required.
- Expert presentation skills for power point, graphics and use of media tools for recording.
- Ability to travel extensively in Pakistan, punctuality & ability to lead and take initiatives./-
Compensation:
- Salary Rs.200,000 per month inclusive of tax with health insurance, EOBI and 2 week paid vacation after one year.
