Job Summary

The incumbent will be responsible for assisting the Senior Officer Project Site in implementation of activities in the WRAP Project.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensuring layout of physical intervention as per design.
  • Site monitoring of activities as per drawings, specifications and BOQ’s.
  • Approvals of Materials upon procurement as per Purchase Requisition form.
  • Tracking the physical progress of activities as per workplan.
  • Ensuring quality of work as per standard methodology.
  • Ensuring health and safety at site in mutual consultation with the community and other stakeholders.
  • Preparation of Weekly and monthly progress reports.
  • Timely reporting of any unforeseen activity and their remedial measure to the supervisor.
  • Any other assigned task by the supervisor.
  • Handover all the project-related data to the office management after the expiry of the contract

Work Week:      5 days (Monday through Friday) - 40 hrs /week

Work Hours:      0830 hrs to 1715 hrs (with 45 minutes lunch & prayer break)

Duty Station:     Field Work, Baltistan Region: (01-Kharkoo, 01-Tissar) & Gilgit Region: (01-Naltar, 01-Astore)

Employment Contract:   Long Term - 10 Month                                                  


Selection Criteria

Education, Experience & Working Knowledge

  • B.Sc. in Civil/ Environmental/ Agricultural Engineering having at least 2 years’ experience OR Diploma/B-tech in civil engineering having at least 5 years’ experience.
  • Well versed with MS office.
  • Local candidates and AutoCAD, Google Maps users will be preferred
