The Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP) is an institution of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) established by the Aga Khan Foundation in 1982. AKRSP has been working in Gilgit Baltistan and Chitral of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan with the overall goal of improving the quality of life of the people in the programme area.
The AKRSP is seeking applications from high caliber professionals for the position of Human Resource officer for Regional Programme Office Baltistan.
Job Purpose:
Overall responsible for data management, analysis and interpretation including developing dashboards, pivot tables and grant charts related to all functions of HR. Also responsible for payroll management, separation management and statutory compliances.
Job Description:
Major responsibilities of the position are as following:
Monthly Payroll Processing
Obtaining attendance, leave records from Regional Offices/Area Offices and process for deductions etc. in payroll
Incorporating payroll changes (transfers, LWPs, benefit changes, bank accounts etc.)
Verification of incorporated changes upon disbursement of salary by finance department
Quarterly review of payroll for any deviations.
Addition of new staff inductions.
Developing employee unique codes and position ids.
Data Management
Maintain Updated data related to all HR functions.
Developing Dash Boards/Pivot Tables of all HR functions
Develop grant charts for tracking of various functions
Employees’ contracts management and separations
Keeping track records of short term and extended term contract staff
Keeping track record separations (contract conclusions, expiries, superannuation retirements etc.)
Preparing and process resignation/separation and death cases
Ensuring timely disbursement of full and final settlements in coordination with finance of separating employees
Keep updated personal files of ex-employees
EOBI and other statutory compliances
Processing registration of all employees with EOBI and ensure all employees get EOBI cards.
Check and process monthly EOBI contribution lists and ensures timely payments.
Ensure compliance to EOBI and other statutory policies
Process EOBI pension cases & obtain pension cards.
Required Experience: Candidate with experience will be preferred
Preference: Women candidates are preferred
Education: Masters/MS in Human Resources
Special skills required:
- Highly proficient on MS Office, Report writing and presentation skills
- Advance user of MS Excel, Strong interpersonal skills.
