Relevant Experience:

Job Description:

  • Patient Registration
  • Provide test related information to the patients
  • Guide patients properly
  • Preparation of account sheet, dues & discount slips on need basis
  • Closing of credit card batch
  • Maintain file and records
  • Tally panel slips with Finance department
  • Verification of completed test history forms
  • Maintain Operations by following policies and procedures
  • Obtains blood specimens by performing venipunctures and finger sticks.
  • Verification of patient by reading patient identification on office copy before sampling
  • Maintains specimen integrity by using aseptic technique, following lab policies and procedures. 
  • Monitors glucose levels by performing  glucose tests; recording results; reporting results to the pathologist
  • Performs bleeding-times and clotting time tests by entering results to the hematology section.
  • Maintains quality results by following department procedures and testing schedule; recording results in the quality-control log; identifying and reporting needed changes.
  • Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures;.
  • Home collection on need basis
  • Maintain Inventory of phlebotomy area
  • Maintain positive & professional attitude towards customers all the time.
  • Verify that the tubes are correctly labeled and the specimen is collected in the right tube.
  • Any other task assigned by the concerned operational head
