Nutrition International has been working in Pakistan since 2001 to improve the health of people in need, especially women and children, through better nutrition. Working in partnership with national and provincial government, Nutrition International focuses on improving access to much needed micronutrients for the most disadvantaged through existing health systems.

One of Nutrition International’s key aims between now and 2024 in Pakistan is to improve the levels of iron, and folic acid and other key micronutrients among women of child bearing age. Aside from nutrition interventions benefiting a broader population (vitamin A supplementation for children under five, zinc and ORS for treating diarrhea, universal salt iodization, wheat flour fortification) in Pakistan, NI has engaged extensively in delivery of IFA for pregnant women through routine antenatal care (ANC).

Nutrition International seeks a consultant to conduct a situational and stakeholder analysis of the existing ANC programming, platforms, MMS stakeholders, and MMS supply in Pakistan, including barriers and the enabling environment for transitioning from MMS to IFA in selected regions, as described above.
