The Trainer with the guidance and support of Professional Development Coordinator will assist in imparting training to teachers, literacy mobilizers and community members. The positon holder will make sure that quality of teaching is enhanced in the NFS established by ALIGHT. 

QUALIFICATION

16 years of education in Education/ educational administration/ education policy or related subject. 

EXPERIENCE

Minimum 3 years of working experience in the field of capacity building and training

 

SKILLS and Attitude

  1. Excellent command on conducting training sessions with teaches.
  2. Understanding to know how to conduct Training Need Assessment (TNA).
  3. Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation and analytical skills.
  4. Strong understanding of developing training material.
  5. Strong English and Urdu writing, editing and content development skills.
  6. Should be able to work as a team player.
  7. Ability to manage assigned work and submission deadlines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Assist in designing, developing and delivering capacity development activities.
  2. Assist in conducting training sessions with teachers, PTC members and staff members.
  3. Assist in designing and conducting TNAs, baseline, midline and endline to ensure quality of education.
  4. Work closely with Provincial Education Departments in planning of training activities and developing material for all planned activities.
  5. Coordinate and facilitate with Education Department for implementing training activities.
  6. Implement training follow up mechanism and ensure need based support and guidance to the teachers, head teachers, PTC/VEC members, students and other beneficiaries.
  7. Develop low/no cost teaching aids by involving teachers and students.
  8. Write training reports.
  9. Produce success stories/case studies and share with communication section.
  10. Maintain updated record of concerned activities.
  11. Maintain close coordination with district education department and partners by attending meetings, sharing progress and information.
  12. Submit monthly, weekly and daily training work plan as asked by the supervisor.
  13. Carryout any other task assigned by the supervisor
