Purpose of the job:


The position-holder will support the hierarchy in financial management of the partnership programs with the National Society. The person keeps track of the programs' budget spending, scrutinizes the financial reports for correctness as per the institutional standards & regulations to support funds availability in the field. Responsible for monthly and quarterly financial forecasting, budget analysis and computer-based summary reporting for hierarchy to make informed decisions.

Also provides administrative support to the departmental programs.




  1. B.Com, or BBA Honours (with focus on finance) or equivalent

  2. 2 years’ experience in finance and accounting

  3. Fluent in written and spoken English

  4. Sound understanding and experience of using MS office, especially MS-Excel

  5. Very Good analytical skills




  1. Responsible for cross-checking the financial reports received from the field, and timely process them through coordination with relevant technical departments for their scrutiny before presenting to the finance for reimbursements.

  2. In consultation with program responsible, maintain an up-to-date follow up of budget spending.

  3. Assists the hierarchy in preparation of monthly cash requests.

  4. Represents the Cooperation team in fiance-related meetings, and discussions.

  5. Contributes to the team discussions on budgets, its follow up and forecasting and also suggests to the hierarchy, effective ways for better financial management.

  6. Manages the department's inventory, logistics, and archives.
