HAMARA PAISA - TRAINER JOB DESCRIPTION                                   

1.       Job title – Trainer

Implementing a Training Program on behalf of a finance company, Hamara Paisa

Hamara Paisa is a social enterprise providing different financial literacy programs, which encourage & enable access to finance for all, irrespective of their socio-economic background, education, age or gender, via our training & technology platforms.

Pakistan is one of the largest unbanked countries in the world, with only one fifth of its population using financial products. The conclusion drawn based on surveys is that the main reason for such a low statistic is due to the lack of financial literacy or information gap in our country. 

Hamara Paisa has a vision of empowering people, particularly women, irrespective of their background by educating them, to improve their financial literacy. The importance of this, is through education we can open up their minds to possibilities that were previously beyond their scope and allow them to take responsibility for their own future and that of their children. It is very possible for them to do this; they just need the tools and encouragement to do so.

We aim to narrow this information gap between the products and individuals by:

  • Educating them
  • Making banking clear, easy and relevant to them
  • Displaying how convenient, accessible and beneficial the product would be for them
  • Provide the right tools in order to find the most relevant product for them
  • Above all provide personalised service where everyone is treated respectfully, any question will be answered, paperwork will be filled and advice will be given

The training team at Hamara Paisa will be conducting training sessions with businesses who have invited us to their premises at various locations in Lahore. 

We are looking for a suitable candidate to conduct the training program.

No prior knowledge of any financial product is required. Full training & support will be provided by Hamara Paisa.

2. Duties

Conduct a pre-written training program to a select group of people at their workplace. All training materials such as handouts and PowerPoint presentations will be provided. Training sessions will be conducted in small groups and will be a combination of presentations and Q & A sessions. Full support will be given for any questions arising which you may be unable to answer.

The training sessions will be followed by one to one interviews with the clients to collect their data to provide them with the best product for their needs.

3. Skills and competencies

    • Willingness to familiarise yourself with any financial product required
    • Ability to conduct workshops using Power Point presentations
    • Strong communications skills
    • Facilitate question and answer sessions
    • Manage to engage your audience and thus foster a rapport with them
    • Be fluent in Urdu and English, both spoken and written
    • Be computer literate with the Microsoft Office suite especially Excel and PowerPoint
    • Excellent interpersonal skill, including patience, willingness to listen and respect for colleagues.

    • Ability to travel within Lahore
    • Ability to work unsupervised
    • Strong team working skills
    • Honest and Dependable with a good work ethic
