Relevant Experience:

  • Diploma in IT or Graduate of an Institute in Information and Communications Technology or equivalent qualifications.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English, Urdu and other local languages.
  • Excellent computer skills, with at least 3 years IT experience in Windows Server 2003, Windows XP / Windows 7 professional, Microsoft Office 2003/2007 / 2010 software, Network antivirus manager console, Hardware and Network.

Job Description:

  • Installing and configuring appropriate hardware and software as required at PTI offices;
  • Ensuring high security over LAN in accordance with PTI, IT security policy at all PTI offices;
  • Technical and training support to KYI staff at fields, e.g. helping set up for presentations if required, solving minor computer issues for field staff;
  • Maintaining of PTI internal telecommunications systems within the main office or field offices;
  • Taking backups and ensures restoration procedures for the LAN and all databases on a regular basis.
  • Provide technical support to the field offices for their Data Backups and also to follow-up with their data backups;
  • Timely maintenance of all systems particularly at fields, ensuring that the anti-virus software in use is current and all systems have updated virus definitions.
  • Frequent visits to field offices for technical support.
  • Any other duty assigned by direct or indirect supervisors.
