Summary: The Program Manager will be responsible for the overall coordination, management and implementation of project activities, including working with consultants, district officers and advocacy officers, as well as UNFPA, to ensure project deliverables are met. The Program Manager is expected to provide strategic guidance and direction to the project, and address challenges with the support of the Technical Lead and Senior Program Manager to ensure project continuity and task completion.

Key Job Outcomes:
- Strategic Plan and Budget Implementation. Works with Technical Lead and project staff to implement the strategic approach of the program or project specific to SRHR and GBV services.
- Program Assessment, Measurement and Evaluation. Reviews monthly program or project progress and financial reports. Identifies best practices in activities. Recommends improvements for program or project performance and assists in sharing innovative methods with partners.
- Project and Management Reporting. Assists in the development and delivery of reports related to the program’s or project’s activities. Submits a completed consolidated report to MEL team on a timely basis.
- Meeting and Forum Attendance. Attends relevant meetings as well as forums to foster and enhance collaboration. Identifies new and improved approaches, methods and ideas.
- Training Design, Development and Delivery. Assists in the development of SOPs and Training curriculum according to project needs
- Product Development and Publications: Assists with coordinating publication of research findings, communication products, technical reviews and the development of manuals and guidelines for project related activities.
- Project Management and Participation: Leads, manages or participates on cross-functional project teams.

Minimally Required Job-Specific Competencies:
- Country Specific Public Health System: Foundational knowledge of countries’ public health systems, as well as understanding of government structures around Women Development
- Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Services: Foundational knowledge of family planning and reproductive health principles, practices and services of assigned program or project, including program or project strategies and indicators.
- Gender responsive services: Foundational knowledge of what it means to have a gender perspective and the importance of integration of gender with SRHR
- Training Design, Development and Delivery: Foundational knowledge of curriculum design and development. Ability to deliver training to diverse groups.
