Consultant for Access to
Finance under Growth for
Rural Advancement and Sustainable Progress

Relevant Experience:

• Must have 16 years of education from an HEC recognized university
• Must have at least 12 years of experience in finance, banking, microfinance, financial inclusion and/or access to finance.
• Must have some experience working in the development sector
• Must be able to work under strict deadlines
• Be able to travel for work
• Must have sound written and oral communication skills

 Job Description:

Scope of Work

• He/she will study the existing GRASP programme documents
• Work closely with the existing GRASP team at PPAF
• Conduct secondary research to collate relevant material for improving access to finance
• Identify current government and donor initiatives
• Ensure that the GRASP access to finance component promotes inclusion

Deliverables

• Expand the Access to Finance Strategy to include mechanism and processes for the matching grant during the pandemic
• Conduct stakeholder mapping at provincial level for Sindh and Balochistan
• Collate and review relevant policy notes and research from SBP, SMEDA, Karandaaz, PMIC and PMN.
• Develop TORs for GRASP A2F committees
• Orient PPAF GRASP staff and PMU staff on A2F component (develop and conduct presentations)
