Director MIS

Job Responsibilities

• Work closely with relevant public and private sector stakeholders, HO and consortium partner/s in identifying / developing Information System requirements through consultations
• Support the project field office Islamabad as well as provincial strategic leadership in advocating to the governments for developing a comprehensive e-health strategies and policies for aligning various Information Systems in terms of common data dictionary, levels of reporting, indicators, technological interoperability and sustainability.
• Establish world-class standards and technical operations for Health Information Systems.
• Supervise Project’s MIS team for transforming and translating governments requirements into technical solutions.
• Work closely with strategic leadership to achieve the combined goal of program.
• Cultivate, disseminate and enforce policies, procedures and quality assurance best practice; lead and address all audit related matters
• Provide technical assistance to Government Officials to develop digitization strategies and planning.
• Identify potential risks vis-à-vis technology and take appropriate measures for mitigation
• Establish and maintain close working relationships with organizations and individuals that influence technology innovation, delivery and adoption in country
• Capacity building of internal team and government officials.

Job Specifications

• A college degree in MIS, IT, CS, Business Management or related field
• 15-18 years of experience in IT field.
• Working experience on enterprise solutions and Health Information Systems
• Strong concepts of System Strengthening
• Fluent English. Ability to interact and effectively communicate with senior management in both technical and user-friendly language.
