Objective of the Consultancy
The objective of the consultancy is to provide support to the MoNHSRC for the development of PC-I for FY (2020-25) for Elimination of Hepatitis C in the country in consultation with all public and private sector stakeholders. He will work closely with the MoNHSRC and GHSC PSM Project staff.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
The consultant under direct supervision and guidance of the Director General Health Services, MoNHSRC and Country Director GHSC PSM Project, with 120 days of LOE (20 days per month).
Following are the principal duties and responsibilities:
- The consultant will be responsible for development of PC-I for next five years (2020-25) for Elimination of Hepatitis C in line with concept note duly processed through MoNHSRC and planning commission.
- Any other assignment given by supervisors
Required Skills and Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The qualifications listed below are representative of the required knowledge, skills, and/or abilities needed to perform the principal duties.
- Postgraduate University degree in Public Health/Epidemiology/Social Sciences
- Minimum of Ten (10) years of working experience on Public Health projects with public/private sector or development agencies. Working experience in the area of Global Health Security Agenda will be preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in proposal writing for development agencies working on health. Experience of PC-I development will be preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communications skills.
- Fluency in English required

Period of Performance and LOE
The expected duration of the assignment is Six (06) months with a total LOE (Level of Effort) of 120 days.
Supervision
The consultant will report directly to the Director General Health Services MoNHSRC/ Country Director GHSC PSM Project
