Relevant Experience: 

  • Master preferably in Social work or any discipline of Social Sciences.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Human Rights and issues of sanitary workers in Sindh Province.
  • Excellent networking and coordination Skills
  • Strong analytical, communication and report writing skills in English;
  • 5-7 year working experience in the field of social sector particularly  with Government at provincial and  district level
  • The position is only open for residents of Sindh and preference will be given to local candidates.

Job Description:

  • Organize community Action Groups and conduct their meetings, awareness sessions and trainings
  • Organize stakeholders meetings at provincial and district level with relevant departments
  • Strong Liaison with legislators/ parliamentarians and District government officials
  • Organize policy advocacy and lobbying meeting with legislators for advocacy and lobbying on health and safety rights of sanitary workers in Sindh. 
  • Close Coordination with WASA and Municipal Corporations for the effective implementation of project and drafting MOUs.
  • Carrying out independent research/ data collection on project related researchers
  • Close coordination with relevant government departments and civil society organizations
  • Close Coordination with Provincial Steering Forum (PSF) members to carry out the advocacy plan, provide technical support and organize monthly and quarterly review meetings
  • Help in launching social media portal and knowledge about effective use of social media
  • Following the work plan and meeting the targets as per plan
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and bi-annual work plans and activity reports
  • Documentation of all activities and compiled data for monthly and quarterly reports
