Nutrition International “NI” (formerly known as the Micronutrient Initiative), is working in partnership with the Government of Pakistan, is undertaking advocacy to consolidate and strength the work done by SUNCSA for addressing nutrition challenge in Pakistan, to build capacity of Civil Society Organizations and key stakeholders to work with parliamentarians to establish a Nutrition Parliamentary Forum to prioritize the national nutrition agenda and to ensure effective implementation of multi-sectoral nutrition strategies and complement efforts of government. Established in 2014 and having a current membership of over 160 Civil Society Organisations, Scaling Up Nutrition Civil Society Alliance (SUNCSA) Pakistan hosted by Nutrition International as its secretariat for the last 3 years.
