Master Trainer-Hospitality Management

JOB PURPOSE:

Hospitality trainer is responsible for developing training tools and training manuals and delivery of training in hospitality management. He/ she will also conduct practical training demonstrating practical skills in work settings.

Job Description:

1. Develop and validate training curriculum for hospitality management training including, but not limited to training manual, session plans, training evaluation tool, pre & post-test tools, training handouts and training presentations.
2. Conduct interpersonal communication skills, life skills and soft skills sessions
3. Facilitate trainees during hands-on training in hotels
4. Conduct pre and post assessments
5. Deliver training sessions of hospitality management in productive and innovative manner to attain desirable training objectives.
6. Prepare and share details of required training resource materials at least a week prior to the training.
7. Apply variety of training delivery techniques and strategies to train the trainees with respect to the required competencies
8. Manage trainees’ performance evaluation (formative & summative) and submit reports both hard & soft copies within one week of evaluation.
9. Update trainee’s data as per the requirements of MIS.
10. Develop training reports with support of Training Officer to cover each & every part of trainings.
11. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor. 

Relevant Experience:

• Minimum 14 years of formal education,
• At least 4 years of proven experience of delivering training in hospitality Management.
• Must have strong presentation skills and understand adult learning techniques to deliver effective training programs.
• Familiarity with eco-tourism, adventure tour guides and camping village projects
• Experience of working with NGOs, training institutions and hotels and tourism industry
• Excellent Computer Skills (MS Office) is mandatory
• Sound judgment, flexibility, adaptability and cultural & gender sensitivity are the core values
• Knowledge of adult learning theories and strategies.
