Job Summary:
The Plant Superintendent is responsible for the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of the LPG cylinder filling Plant. The role involves supervising plant operations, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, coordinating maintenance activities, and managing plant personnel to achieve operational and performance targets.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and monitor LPG filling machines, electronic filling scales and leak detection systems to ensure accurate filling and optimal operational efficiency
Supervise the fire protection infrastructure, including the fire hydrant network, Hale fire pumps, jockey pumps and all firefighting equipment, ensuring continuous emergency preparedness and compliance with HSE standards
Ensure smooth operation and preventive maintenance of the generator, electrical control panels, compressors and other plant utilities to ensure uninterrupted plant operations
Ensure proper functioning of LPG cylinder testing unit, cylinder repair and reconditioning section and LPG painting section, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Company standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Ensure effective implementation of preventive maintenance schedules, equipment calibration, breakdown maintenance control and strict adherence to safety procedures.
Ensure uninterrupted electricity supply through optimal utilization of the solar power system to effectively meet the plant’s energy requirements.
Oversee the operation and maintenance of LPG bowzers, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of LPG in accordance with safety standards and operational procedures.
Coordination and liaison with regulatory authorities and stakeholders, including, WAPDA, OGRA, the Explosives Department, the Electrical Inspector and the Weighing Scale Department, ensuring full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
