Having thorough understanding of procurement guidelines of IFAD, WB, ADB etc.

Facilitate in devising mechanism and process for selection of partner organizations for the implementation of NPGP programme activities in the programme target districts which are compliant to the project financing agreement as per IFAD’s guidelines and polices.

Provide strategic feedback in to NPGP team on identification of relevant procurement methods for specific procurements, as per the IFAD Procurement Handbook

Assist in drafting the contracts for implementing partners under NPGP programme activities to be approved by PPAF.

Technical review and oversight of the procurement documents prepared by the procurement unit for NPGP to ensure full compliance to IFAD’s procurement guidelines.

Take part into the tender evaluation committee works, including drafting the tender selection/ evaluation forms, announcing tender results, and preparing the procurement provisions that will be included in the contracts.

Review implementation of the works that shall be in accordance with the procurement provisions, in close collaboration with Procurement Unit of PPAF and apprise the Programme Director-NPGP on weekly basis to help take timely corrective actions.
