Qualification
BS/MS in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) from an HEC-recognized university.
Relevant professional registration/certification will be preferred.
Training in pediatric speech and language therapy will be an advantage.
Experience
1–3 years
of relevant experience preferred.
Experience working with children with developmental disabilities will be an advantage.
Fresh candidates with relevant clinical training may also apply.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing-related difficulties where applicable.
Develop individualized speech and language therapy plans according to each child’s needs.
Provide one-to-one and group therapy sessions.
Work with children having speech delay, language disorders, articulation difficulties, fluency disorders, and communication challenges.
Use appropriate therapeutic techniques and activities to improve communication skills.
Monitor and evaluate clients’ progress and modify therapy plans accordingly.
Maintain accurate patient files, assessment reports, therapy notes, and progress records.
Provide guidance and home-based therapy activities to parents/caregivers.
Coordinate with
Special Educators, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and other professionals
as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Participate in case discussions, meetings, assessments, and awareness activities.
Maintain professional and ethical standards while providing child-centered care.
