Workplace: Remote

robobooth.ca is a growing event management company delivering high-quality corporate events, conferences, trade shows and experiential events across the United States and Canada. We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Ad Editor & Motion Designer to lead the production of engaging, performance-focused advertising creative for Meta and other digital platforms.

This role is responsible for taking creative briefs, scripts, raw event footage, UGC, talking-head footage, voiceovers, photography, and brand assets and transforming them into high-quality advertisements. The ideal candidate combines strong video-editing expertise with advanced 2D motion-design skills and a strong understanding of short-form, direct-response advertising. This is a hands-on creative production role requiring both technical excellence and the ability to independently develop effective visual executions from a brief.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality video advertisements for Facebook, Instagram, and other paid-social platforms.

  • Edit UGC, talking-head, testimonial, voiceover, event-montage, POV, case-study, and promotional advertisements.

  • Develop compelling hooks, pacing, visual storytelling, captions, calls-to-action, and creative variations designed to improve advertising performance.

  • Create advanced 2D motion graphics, kinetic typography, animated diagrams, venue maps, illustrations, infographics, and other custom animations.

  • Combine live-action event footage with motion graphics, animation, sound design, and visual effects.

  • Translate scripts and creative briefs into original visual concepts and advertising executions.

  • Produce multiple hook, CTA, audience, and creative variations from successful advertisements.

  • Adapt creative for different audiences, including wedding, corporate, trade-show, and experiential-event campaigns.

  • Prepare advertisements in appropriate Meta formats, primarily 9:16 and 4:5.

  • Perform professional editing, colour correction, audio mixing, sound design, caption design, and final exports.

  • Develop and maintain reusable motion-graphics and branded creative assets to improve production efficiency.

  • Maintain well-organized, editable project files and ensure all source assets are properly managed.

  • Work closely with the marketing and creative team to review briefs, incorporate feedback, and deliver creative within agreed timelines.

  • Stay current with effective short-form advertising formats, creative trends, and performance advertising practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.

  • 1+ years of professional experience in video editing, motion design, advertising creative, or a related field.

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects and strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.

  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

  • Demonstrated experience producing short-form advertisements for Meta, Instagram, TikTok, or other paid-social platforms.

  • Strong 2D motion-design and custom animation capabilities.

  • Experience combining live-action footage with motion graphics and animation.

  • Strong understanding of short-form storytelling, visual communication, pacing, hooks, captions, and calls-to-action.

  • Ability to work from scripts and creative briefs and independently determine appropriate visual executions.

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating professional advertising, editing, and motion-design work.

  • Excellent written and spoken English.

  • Strong attention to detail, creative judgment, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

  • Experience working with international clients is preferred.

Candidates whose experience is primarily limited to basic CapCut editing, social-media management, wedding highlight videos, podcast or YouTube editing, template-based production, or graphic design without strong video and motion-design experience will not be considered.
