Marie Adelaide Leprosy Centre (MALC) is a leading humanitarian and healthcare organization committed to improving the lives of vulnerable communities through quality healthcare, rehabilitation, and social inclusion. We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Medical Officer to join our Rehabilitation Center in Larkana.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide quality outpatient and inpatient medical care to patients.
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients according to clinical protocols.
- Prescribe medications and monitor treatment outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and medical documentation.
- Refer patients to specialists or higher-level healthcare facilities when required.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary rehabilitation team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in health education, awareness sessions, and community outreach activities.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, clinical guidelines, and infection prevention protocols.
- Prepare monthly medical reports and maintain relevant statistics.
Qualifications & Experience
- MBBS from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC).
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant clinical experience, preferably in a hospital, rehabilitation center, or NGO setting.
- Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Fluency in Urdu and Sindhi; proficiency in English will be an added advantage.
