Qualification: 

• Reputed Engineering / Geoscience degree or Diploma Holder

Experience: 

• 15 years’ experience with degree or 20 years with Diploma holder with valid IWCF certificate

Skills:

• Cognizant with HSE standards
• Valid IWCF
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a busy and challenging environment
• Computer literate

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Directly report to Manager Drilling
• Coordinate the well site planning, programming & execution of activities related to subsurface Engineering for drilling & completion operations on the basis of agreed drilling program & according to clearly drilling standards
• Provide technical support on well operation changes & participate & execute drilling operations
• Participate & execute drilling operations like casing / liner running & cementation, BOP function / pressure test, FIT / LOT, Well head installation / test, Cement plugs jobs, Bit / BHA configuration, drill hole with recommended drilling parameters & other drilling related operations
• Prepare daily drilling & other operational instructions
• To lead drilling operations including complicated operational problems like Fishing, Stuck pipe, Well control
• Check all received equipment (casing, liner, completion, and well head etc) as per required company safety standers
• Liaising with equipment & service provider to ensure all equipment & rental tools are delivered as per required delivery schedule
• Prepare daily drilling, monthly & action review reports
• Monitor the technical performance of Service Contractors against agreed indicators
• Overall in charge of drilling operation at rig site including all drilling operational responsibilities
• To set up and maintain appropriate guidelines and procedures governing safe working practices at rig site
• Supervise the crew. Record and communicate accident reports
• Follow approved working schedule
• Supervise BOP, Fire and H2S drills at the rig site
• Manage all activities under the control in conformity with company’s health, safety and environment & security policies control in conformity with company’s health, safety and environment & security policies

Note: This position is on Contract Basis for the duration of the project only.
