Job Description:
- Develop and implement monthly outreach and community mobilization plans in line with approved project work plans and targets.
- Conduct community outreach activities to identify, reach, and facilitate the registration of eligible beneficiaries.
- Follow up on Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) cases and support timely referrals and service uptake.
- Track and monitor beneficiaries categorized as Yellow, Red, and Black cases and ensure appropriate follow-up and documentation.
- Conduct awareness and sensitization sessions at BISP offices, POS agent shops, Union Council offices, health facilities, and other community platforms.
- Establish, strengthen, and coordinate with Benazir Beneficiary Committees (BBCs) to enhance community participation and ownership.
- Organize orientation sessions and coordination meetings with key stakeholders, including Lady Health Supervisors (LHSs), Lady Health Workers (LHWs), Union Council representatives, BISP officials, Health Department staff, and NADRA representatives.
- Conduct awareness sessions on maternal, infant, and young child nutrition (MIYCN), available programme services, and beneficiary responsibilities.
- Maintain effective coordination and working relationships with government departments, local authorities, community leaders, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure timely documentation of activities, collection of Means of Verification (MOVs), and submission of reports through ODK and other designated reporting systems.
- Maintain accurate records and support monitoring, reporting, and programme learning activities.
- Ensure compliance with ACT International policies, safeguarding principles, and organizational standards.
- Perform any other task assigned by the supervisor in support of programme objectives.
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Sociology, Public Health, Community Development, Nutrition, Rural Development, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in community mobilization, nutrition, health, social protection, or development sector projects.
- Experience working with government departments, BISP, health and nutrition programmes, and community-based interventions will be preferred.
- Familiarity with digital data collection tools such as ODK/Kobo Collect will be an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently in field settings and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
