Position Summary

The Psychologist will provide mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) services to vulnerable children, youth, and families, integrating trauma-informed approaches within education and vocational interventions.

Scope of Work and Key Responsibilities

A. Mental Health Service Delivery

  • Conduct psychological assessments and counseling sessions.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions.

B. Case Management & Referrals

  • Develop individualized care plans.
  • Coordinate referrals with hospitals, social welfare, and protection services.

C. Capacity Building

  • Train project staff on Psychological First Aid (PFA) and stress management.

D. Documentation & Ethics

  • Maintain confidential case records in line with ethical standards.

Key Deliverables

  • Case files and counseling reports
  • Training reports
  • Referral documentation

KPIs

  • Number of clients served per month
  • Improvement in psychosocial well-being indicators
  • Staff trained on PFA (100%)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s in clinical psychology / applied psychology
  • 3–5 years of experience (Punjab context preferred)
