Project Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

1. WASH Infrastructure & Hygiene Promotion

• Supervise the rehabilitation of non-functional community water supply schemes to ensure consistent potable water provision.
• Lead the Training of Trainers (ToT) for master trainers on water storage and hygiene practices.
• Oversee the execution of cascade community awareness sessions through master trainers to improve hygiene behaviors and reduce waterborne disease risks.
• Organize and celebrate International Days (e.g., Global Handwashing Day, World Water Day) and manage the development of IEC (Information, Education, and Communication) materials.

2. Climate-Resilient Livelihoods & Food Security

• Coordinate a comprehensive Livelihood Market Assessment, including trader network analysis and food price inflation monitoring.
• Manage the provision of Climate-Smart Agriculture training, tools, and seeds for small farmers and women.
• Oversee Kitchen Gardening initiatives, including capacity building and package distribution (seeds and tools) for women households to improve food diversity.
• Facilitate vocational and market skills training and organize Market Exposure Visits to diversify income opportunities.

3. Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL)

• Apply the need assessment tool to ensure interventions remain responsive to community realities.
• Monitor food price inflation and market trends to ensure livelihood interventions remain technically sound and economically viable.
• Ensure all project documentation accurately reflects the purely humanitarian nature of the response.

4. Coordination & Management

• Liaise with the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) and relevant provincial steering committees and working groups to align activities with regional disaster response plans.
• Manage a multidisciplinary team, ensuring "mutual accountability" and high-quality implementation of field activities.
